Java Back End Developer - Freshers @ Altimetrik

Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Java Backend Developer to join our development team. As a fresher, you will get hands-on experience in backend development, gain exposure to modern technologies, and work on real-time projects under the guidance of experienced professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and maintaining server-side logic using Java.
  
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices.
  
• Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  
• Work with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) and ORM frameworks like Hibernate.
  
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging.
  
• Learn and implement RESTful APIs.
  
• Maintain technical documentation.
  

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of Java, OOPs concepts, and basic data structures.
  
• Familiarity with Java frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot (preferred).
  
• Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases.
  
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  
• Familiar with Git and version control systems.
  
• Knowledge of REST APIs is a plus.
  
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and tools.
  

Eligibility Criteria:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  
• Recent graduate or final year student with availability to join full-time.
  

Nice to Have:

• Personal or academic projects using Java/Spring Boot.
  
• Familiarity with tools like Postman, Maven/Gradle, Docker (optional).
  
• Participation in coding contests or open-source contributions.
