Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AEM Developer to play a pivotal role in the development of a new website within a dynamic, distributed, and matrixed environment involving multiple internal teams and external suppliers. You will be working on a high-impact project, collaborating across technical and non-technical teams, and contributing directly to the delivery of innovative digital solutions.
The development will follow the Scrum agile framework, utilizing tools like Rally/Agile Central for sprint and release management.
Who You Will Work With
You will collaborate closely with:
- Solution/Domain Architects (Internal and Supplier teams)
- Development Teams (Internal and Supplier)
- Application Support Teams
- Internal Product Management Teams
- Project Managers (Internal and Supplier)
- Internal Infrastructure Teams
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a key liaison between multiple technical teams covering architecture, design, and development.
- Own the resolution of technical dependencies across diverse products and systems during website development.
- Collaborate with technical stakeholders (internal and external) to resolve infrastructure and connectivity challenges (e.g., IP/URL whitelisting, system integrations).
- Coordinate between engineering (Dev/QA) teams to ensure seamless communication and resolution of technical blockers.
- Connect architectural and development efforts, ensuring alignment across project teams.
What You Will Do
- Lead the technical solution aspects of the website development.
- Facilitate the resolution of cross-system technical issues.
- Support Agile ceremonies and activities related to sprint planning, review, and retrospectives.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for engineering practices.
Your Career Experience So Far
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in web application development preferably using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
- Strong expertise in integrating applications with AEM using REST APIs.
- Proficient in creating high-level and low-level technical designs.
- Experienced in contributing to and understanding technical architectures.
- Solid knowledge of modern web design patterns and practices.
- Familiarity with building conversational search experiences using GenAI technologies like ChatGPT is a plus.
