Job Description
VidyaGyan School is looking for TGT English teacher for Sitapur location.
Location - VidyaGyan School, Sitapur
Exp - 3+ years
Key Responsibilities:
- Instruction and Curriculum Development:
- Develop and deliver lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and accommodate diverse learning needs.
- Employ a variety of teaching methods and resources to engage students and enhance their understanding of English literature, grammar, writing, and vocabulary.
- Design and implement assessments to monitor and evaluate student progress.
- Classroom Management:
- Create and maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Address and resolve classroom issues promptly and effectively.
- Promote student participation and encourage a culture of respect and collaboration.
- Student Support:
- Provide individualized support to students who need extra help or enrichment in English language skills.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and areas for improvement.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and other school-related events.
- Professional Development:
- Stay current with developments in English education and integrate new teaching strategies and technologies into the classroom.
- Attend workshops, conferences, and other professional development opportunities.
- Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, grades, and assessments.
- Prepare and submit reports as required by the school administration.
- Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to support interdisciplinary learning and school-wide initiatives.
- Participate in school committees, extracurricular activities, and staff meetings as needed.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in English, Education, or a related field. Experience: Previous experience teaching English at the secondary level preferred.
Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in English language and literature, ability to create engaging lesson plans, and effective classroom management skills.
