Job Description

Quality Assurance & Inspection:
-
Conduct thorough quality checks and inspections on engineering systems and components in accordance with company standards.
-
Ensure that engineering products meet predefined quality standards before delivery or installation.
-
Review specifications and technical documents to ensure that the materials and processes used are compliant with industry norms.

Project Monitoring & Compliance:
-
Monitor the execution of engineering projects, ensuring that quality control processes are followed from design to commissioning.
-
Ensure that all equipment, machinery, and systems are inspected for safety and operational efficiency.

Defect Identification & Problem-Solving:
-
Identify any defects or deviations from the quality standards and take corrective action.

Troubleshoot and address quality-related issues and work with cross-functional teams to resolve them efficiently.

Documentation & Reporting:
-
Maintain accurate records of inspection reports, quality tests, and findings.
-
Provide detailed feedback to the engineering team regarding quality standards and any issues that may affect performance.

Prepare regular quality reports and update senior management on quality inspection results.

Process Improvement:

Participate in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.

Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements.

Supplier Coordination:

Communicate with suppliers and vendors to ensure that the supplied materials meet quality requirements.

Perform incoming inspections on raw materials and components received from suppliers.

Continuous Learning:

Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in quality assurance and inspection technologies.

Participate in training programs to improve personal expertise and contribute to team knowledge.

Education:
-
BE/B.Tech in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from a recognized university/institution, with at least 60% marks.

Experience:
-
Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in Quality Assurance or Inspection within an engineering or manufacturing environment.

Experience in electrical/electronic engineering or related fields is preferred.

Technical Skills:
-
Strong knowledge of quality assurance practices, inspection techniques, and industry standards.
-
Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other relevant quality standards.

Proficiency in using quality inspection tools and equipment.

Experience with inspection software and report generation.

Soft Skills:

Strong attention to detail and high standards of accuracy.

Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
