Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven and strategic DevOps Manager to lead our DevOps team in implementing scalable, secure, and efficient infrastructure and deployment practices. You will be responsible for driving CI/CD strategies, managing cloud infrastructure, enhancing system reliability, and collaborating across teams to ensure seamless integration of development and operations processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of DevOps engineers.
Define and implement DevOps strategies including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and monitoring.
Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) with a focus on scalability, availability, and cost-efficiency.
Ensure high availability of systems and proactive monitoring, alerting, and incident management.
Collaborate with software development, QA, security, and product teams to streamline release processes.
Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
Own and improve deployment pipelines and tooling to accelerate development cycles.
Drive cloud security and compliance initiatives (e.g., IAM, secrets management, vulnerability scanning).
Review and improve system architecture, networking, and performance monitoring.
Oversee disaster recovery and backup strategies.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
7+ years of experience in DevOps, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
Expertise in managing cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Proficient with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions.
Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar.
Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK Stack).
Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevSecOps practices.
Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
