Job Description
Designation: Business Manager/BDM System Integration (Server, Storage, Networking & Virtualization)
Location: Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai
For hardware specialist:
- Should have managed sales of Server, storage, networking range of products for at least 4-5 years experience and a Total sales experience of 12 years
- Must possess knowledge on hardware products from, DELL, HP, EMC, IBM and CISCO
- Should have managed customer sales in Mumbai market for at least 4-5 years and should have sold hardware, servers, storage and networking to customers
- Should have good connect with OEMs like DELL, HP, EMC, IBM and CISCO
- Knowledge of hardware configuration is necessary
The ideal candidate should have 4-5 experience in IT solutions particularly focusing to sales of server, storage and networking technologies. The candidate should have the ability to:
- Engage with all levels within both OEM and the customers' organization
- Co-draft sales strategies together with the account managers
- Define system architecture and solution proposals
- Prepare configurations of hardware products and associated infrastructure software
- Translate customer requirements into deliverable products and services
- Define values propositions, positioning and differentiation to competitors products
- Support and develop existing customer and partner relationships and skills
- Represent company in a marketing events as required
- Actively develop server and storage product expertise
Candidate must be excellent communicators, able to develop and articulate complex technological issues in a straightforward way to both decision makers and technical personnel alike. The candidate must be self-motivated and proactive and also be interested in advancing their specific expertise in server and storage technologies and associate software products.
The ideal candidate should have significant experience in IT solutions and IT transformation projects focusing particularly on sales of server and storage technologies.
- Be an experienced professional with a successful and proven track record in this domain
- Have a BSc. or equivalent or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering
- Have at least 5 years of hardware products sales experience
- Have an excellent command of server and storage technologies and products
- Have excellent written, oral and presentation skills in English.
- Have an understanding of key business drivers and competitive landscape in server and storage markets
- Be proficient in translating complex business requirements into workable technical solutions
company also require experience and understanding of the following areas:
- Design of high availability solutions
- Disaster recovery, business continuity, data back-up solutions
- Virtualization and consolidation practices and methodologies
- Design and architecture of complex and mission critical IT solutions entailing server and storage technologies
- Multi-tiered client server solutions
- UNIX and/or Linux operating system and Design of data center
