Job Description

 

• Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database software and related products.

• Monitor and optimize database performance (tuning, indexing, partitioning).

• Implement and manage backup and recovery strategies (RMAN/Data Pump).

• Ensure database security, including user access controls and encryption.

• Apply database patches and perform upgrades/migrations as required.

• Handle database cloning, replication, and disaster recovery setup.

• Create and maintain documentation related to database architecture and procedures.

• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to support business needs.

• Monitor daily operations using tools like OEM (Oracle Enterprise Manager).

• Perform capacity planning and space management.
