Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Architectural Vision: Develop and maintain a comprehensive architectural vision for the project, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
- Microservices Design: Design and implement a scalable, reliable, and secure microservices architecture.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Oversee the deployment and management of the application on Kubernetes, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
- Backend Development: Lead the development of backend services using Quarkus, DB2, and Hibernate.
- Frontend Integration: Ensure seamless integration between ReactJS frontends and backend services through REST APIs.
- Containerization and Orchestration: Manage Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration, including Helm chart configurations.
- Interface Management: Coordinate the integration of over 40 interfaces using IBM MQ, Axway CFT, REST, and SOAP.
- DevOps Practices: Implement and promote DevOps best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure as code.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of architects and DevOps engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for architectural and process improvements to enhance system performance, security, and maintainability.
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong proficiency in Java and nice to have in TypeScript, ReactJS.
- Extensive experience with Quarkus, DB2, and Hibernate.
- In-depth knowledge of RESTful API design.
- Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, Linux Bash and Helm.
- Experience with IBM MQ, Axway CFT, REST, and SOAP interfaces.
- Experience with Grafana, Opensearch, Jaeger Tracing, Opentelemetry
- Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Sonar, BlackDuck
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools and practices.
- Leadership: Proven experience in leading and mentoring technical teams.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex technical challenges.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
