While "CUBE" may refer to different platforms depending on context, in many enterprise DevOps environments, it's a test automation or execution framework layered over CI/CD pipelines.
Key Skills Likely Required:
1. AWS Expertise
Proficiency in core AWS services: EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch
Working knowledge of cloud-native application architecture
Experience with deploying and testing applications on AWS
2. Test Automation
Strong experience with tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, or Cypress
Familiarity with API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI
Writing reusable test cases for UI, API, and backend testing
3. CI/CD & DevOps Tools
Integration with pipelines via Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline
Test orchestration and reporting
Familiarity with containerized testing environments using Docker/Kubernetes
4. Programming/Scripting Languages

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Cube AWS Test Automation Engineer to lead the testing and validation of OLAP-style data models and cubes hosted on AWS. You will be responsible for building automated test frameworks that ensure the accuracy, performance, and reliability of data cubes and analytics pipelines in cloud-native environments.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement automated test strategies for OLAP-like cube solutions built on AWS platforms (Redshift, Athena, Glue, QuickSight, or custom data marts).
Validate dimensions, facts, measures, and aggregations for accuracy and consistency across data sources.
Build automated validation scripts using SQL, Python, and AWS SDKs to compare source data with cube output.
Ensure end-to-end data quality across ETL/ELT pipelines (e.g., Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, Airflow).
Automate regression, smoke, and performance testing of data models and reporting layers.
Integrate test automation into CI/CD workflows using AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
Collaborate with BI developers, data engineers, and QA analysts to define test coverage and data validation rules.
Monitor data refresh jobs, validate cube integrity post-deployment, and troubleshoot anomalies.
Document test cases, testing procedures, and defect tracking.

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in test automation for data warehousing or OLAP/BI environments.
Strong experience with AWS data stack: Redshift, Glue, Athena, S3, Lambda, Step Functions.
Proficient in Python and SQL for writing automated tests and data validations.
Experience working with BI tools such as Amazon QuickSight or third-party analytics platforms.
Familiarity with data modeling concepts (star schema, snowflake schema, fact/dimension tables).
Experience integrating test automation in CI/CD environments using AWS or third-party tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to data detail.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with dbt, Great Expectations, or similar data validation frameworks.
Knowledge of DAX/MDX if integrating with tools that support cube queries.
Exposure to DataOps and test data management practices.
