Android Mobile Application Developer @ Craft Silicon

Job Description

Job Purpose:

The purpose of this role includes the development of Android applications.

Responsibilities: 1) Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin and Java.
2) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
3) Work with outside data sources and APIs (REST, JSON).
4) Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
5) Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
6) Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize
7) development efficiency, Able to integrate 3rd party libraries.

Writing queries for SQLite android
Hands on services, Broadcast receivers
Workability in NDK tool Skills and Competencies:

Experience in GPRS, Messaging API, localization API etc.
Sound knowledge in SQLite and various SQL queries.
Worked on IDE like Net beans/Eclipse
Knowledge of RMS is an advantage
HTML5, CSS3.0, AJAX, JS, JSON, XML is a plus
Proven software development experience and Android skills development.
Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with
different screen sizes.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
Familiar with Git, Firebase, Retrofit, Room DB, and other libraries. Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor Engineering / Master of Technology
Master's in computer applications
Professional Certification:
SQL Certification (optional)
