Senior Art Director

What we expect from you   Creativity: Delivers every idea and assignment with creativity and passion. Ability to translate
a marketing need into a unique, creative brand.
Conceptual work: Proven conceptual ability to create smart, strategic creative campaigns.
Understands partnership with copywriter and works with brand team to ensure ideas are on
strategy.
Design skills: Basic knowledge of interactive design, familiarity with web design, mobile and
emails. Basic understanding of design patterns. Robust knowledge of print design, print
production and retouching required.
Branding knowledge: Ability to design materials true to the brand identity of product and
style guidelines set. Able to develop unique visual brand palette true to strategic platform.
User Experience: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business and
development to create a meaningful user experience using various forms of digital media.
Works closely with Interactive Designers to share branding elements to ensure consistency.
Project Goals: Ensure work is in line with the goals of the project, and that client needs are
met.
Art Rights Management: proper documentation of imagery, familiarity with licensing, ability
to work with art buyer for purchasing. Works with supervisor to create image library through
photoshoot or compilation.
Presentation: Ability to effectively articulate ideas, present to groups internally and
externally.
Communication: Open communication with supervisor to share progress of work and design
and communicates with brand team.
Time management: Manages time wisely across jobs, meets agreed upon deadlines and is
accountable and responsible for their work.
Experience: Knowledge of agency functions or applicability of experience, previous design
experience in digital and print.
Background/experience and skills
B.A. degree in graphic design, interactive design, advertising air other design-related program
7+ Years of experience as a Designer required
Fluid in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
Basic knowledge of Flash Animation
Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint
