Desired Candidate Profile

• New product development & Up-gradation of existing products.
• Manages and provides leadership for the functional group's development, direction and effectiveness, adhering to organization policies and processes and supporting overall business and corporate objectives.
• Leads and mentors junior team members, developing overall team technical and operational efficiencies.
• Understands industry and company regulatory and software quality standards and ensures these standard are followed for all projects.
• Establishes strategy for the effective utilization of software test automation techniques, ensuring industry-best standards and tools are followed.
• Responsible for planning the SQA activities such as, ensuring requirements are in place and are testable, writes verification plans, targets and identifies release of tests or if a new test is required, and ensures success of the team supporting the process to execute tests.
• Assigns tests for development or that require updates as needed for retest, regression, confirmation and execution within appropriate team members and ensures tht those deadlines are met.
• Responsible for the release of software, writes verification reporting, performs reliability assessments , deferred issue reporting, requirements tractability, readiness statement and review and process verification.

• Must have a minimum of 3 years lead experience in SQA role.
• Must have 5 years of experience with embedded/Firmware software testing.
• Must have 3 years of software test automation experience.
• Strongly prefer 2 years of software testing experience in highly regulated industry.
• Must have strong command of software test engineering skills, testing at all phases of the software development life cycle, including using both white box and black box techniques.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of multiple programming and scripting languages including C++, C#, Python, and/or Visual basic.
• Understanding and experience working in an agile scrum development environment, able to clearly articulate the role of software testing within Agile Scrum.
• Understanding and experience working with software development and testing tools including TFS and ALM equivalent.
• Able to articulate the role and strategy of implementing an effective software test strategy, with strong emphasis on the role of test automation.
• Demonstrated proactive and strong problem-solving skiills.
• Strong team-oriented behavior and ability to work within a collaborative environment.
• Outstanding communication skills both verbally and written across all levels of the organization.
