Job Description
The Team Leader - Wealth will oversee and drive the performance of a team of 68 Relationship Managers (RMs) responsible for acquiring and servicing high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) with investible wealth ranging from 1 crore to 5 crore. The Team Leader will provide mentorship and operational support to ensure team targets are met, while upholding the compliance and organizations commitment to customer-centricity and profitability.
1. Team Leadership and Management:
- Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of Relationship Managers to achieve sales targets and deliver high-quality client service.
- Conduct regular team meetings to review performance, share insights, and align efforts with organizational goals.
- Create & execute bespoke training program, so that the team is aligned with the products USP and process of sales.
- Provide mentoring and development opportunities to enhance team skills and productivity.
2. Client Acquisition and Retention:
- Support Relationship Managers in identifying & acquiring HNWIs with investible wealth between 1 crore to 5 crore.
- Oversee the teams efforts in client servicing, ensuring strong relationships and high levels of customer satisfaction.
3. Product Sales and Advisory:
- Drive the sale of third-party wealth products, including Mutual Funds, Insurance, AIFs, PMS and any other product that part of portfolio of PCG.
- Ensure that team members provide personalized investment strategies aligned with clients financial goals and risk appetites.
4. Performance Management:
- Monitor and evaluate individual and team performance against defined sales targets and KPIs consistently at fixed interval as per organisational process.
- Identify and address performance gaps through targeted interventions including Theoretical training, On the Job training, Mentorship, Joint calls, feedback etc.
5. Market Insights and Training:
- Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and new product developments,
and share insights with the team.
- Work with Regional team and training team to organize regular training sessions to enhance product knowledge and client engagement techniques.
6. Compliance and Governance:
- Ensure that sales process & all team activities adhere to organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support and drive to maintain accurate and timely records of client interactions and team performance.
Qualifications and Experience
Educational Background:
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Preferred: MBA in Marketing/Finance or equivalent qualification.
Experience: 7-12 years of relevant experience in the BFSI industry, with at least 2-3 years in a team management role.
