Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and technically skilled X++ Developer with 36 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O) development. The candidate will be responsible for customizations, extensions, integrations, and reporting within the D365 ecosystem, contributing to the successful delivery and support of enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop customizations in D365 F&O using X++, EDTs, Enums, Forms, Tables, Queries, Classes, and AOT objects. Develop and customize SSRS reports in D365 F&O. Implement and troubleshoot data integrations using Data Entities, SysOperation Framework, and RunBaseBatch Framework. Create and update technical documentation including FDDs, TDDs, and Unit Test Documents. Debug and resolve issues in X++ code using Visual Studio and Azure DevOps. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and convert them into technical specifications. Participate in unit testing, UAT support, and post-deployment activities. Work on security roles, duties, and privileges as per client requirements. Use Azure DevOps for task management and version control.
Required Skills:
36 years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX / D365 F&O development. Strong proficiency in X++, SSRS Reporting, and SQL. Knowledge of Data Entities, Event Handlers, and Chain of Command (CoC). Experience working with Azure DevOps for check-ins, task tracking, and version control. Good understanding of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable modules. Familiarity with security artifacts, environment setup, and manual testing. Strong communication and documentation skills.
Nice to Have:
Basic knowledge of LCS deployment, Data Migration, or Service Updates. Microsoft certifications such as: o MB-300: Core Finance and Operations o MB-500: Finance and Operations Apps Developer o PL-900: Power Platform Fundamentals o AZ-900: Azure Fundamental
