Job Description
Software - Android Framework Security Engineer |Must have 4 years minimum experience in Android open source Project( AOSP ) If you don't have experience in AOSP please don't apply | Salary : 20LPA - 35 LPA | Only Male | Must and Must AOSP EXPERIENCE | Working Days 5 days
Key Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
Design, develop, and maintain various components for our custom AOSP implementation
Take full ownership of assigned projects, potentially leading the entire AOSP initiative
Customize AOSP to meet specific security requirements for point-of-sale applications
Identify security vulnerabilities and implement robust solutions
Research and propose technical approaches when requirements are not fully defined
Collaborate with the team to establish best practices for security in mobile environments
Debug complex issues in the Android framework and system components
Optimize performance while maintaining high security standards
Document code, architectures, and technical decisions
5+ years of software development experience
Strong hands-on experience with AOSP customization and development
Deep understanding of Android security architecture and mechanisms
Proficiency in Java and C/C++
Experience with Linux kernel modifications for Android
Strong background in mobile security concepts and best practices
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Location
This position is on-site in Bengaluru, India
Comfort with ambiguity and ability to define technical direction with limited guidance
Willingness to provide constructive feedback on requirements and suggest alternative
approaches
Experience with Rust programming language
Knowledge of secure boot processes and hardware security modules
Familiarity with payment processing security standards (PCI DSS)
Experience with SELinux policy development and implementation
Background in embedded systems security
Contributions to open-source projects
Full ownership of significant technical projects
