Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented ETL Testing Engineer with Python experience to join our data engineering and quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating data pipelines, performing data quality checks, and using Python for automation and testing of ETL processes.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform end-to-end ETL testing to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness

• Design and execute test cases, scenarios, and scripts for ETL processes

• Validate data transformations, mappings, and business rules in the ETL layer

• Develop Python scripts for test automation and data validation

• Work with SQL to validate large data sets and perform backend data testing

• Collaborate with data engineers, BI developers, and QA teams

• Identify data quality issues and assist in troubleshooting and resolution

• Document test results, defects, and provide actionable insights

Requirements:

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• 26 years of experience in ETL testing with strong exposure to Python scripting

• Proficiency in SQL for data validation and manipulation

• Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, or similar

• Hands-on experience in test automation using Python, PyTest, or similar frameworks

• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and data flows

• Familiarity with Agile development processes and defect tracking tools like JIRA

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
