Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- To give satisfactory report of installation of new medical equipment to the concerned HOD.
- To get the staff trained for using and handling the equipment. 3. To make schedules for preventive and routine maintenance of hospital medical equipment.
- To make schedules for preventive and routine maintenance of hospital medical equipment.
- To ensure functional status, preventive and routine maintenance, and calibration of the equipment.
- To take detailed round of the hospital.
- To inform about faulty equipment to the concerned company during warranty /AMC/CMC period.
- To check serviced/repaired equipment for their satisfactory performance of the
- equipment.
- To Keep update history sheet of medical equipment during warranty/AMC/CMC period and otherwise.
- To plan & List the material, maintain desired inventory, send indents to central
- period and otherwise.
- To maintain consumption record ensuring there is no pilferage/wastages.
- To submit consumption statement to manager material.
- To coordinate with other departments of the hospital and administrate to fulfil the objective of the hospital.
- To attend various hospital meetings.
- To report to the HOD regarding the breakdowns and other incidences for Immediate corrective measures and to avoid recurrence.
- Determine training needs for staff technicians and engineers and recommend /Implement arrangement arrangements as needed to obtain necessary training test equipment and tool needed to expand the areas of technical services provided by the department.
