Job Description

Role & responsibilities

An Area Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing sales operations within a specific geographical area.
Responsible to maintain a cordial relationship with doctors, Hospital Staff & Hospital management, Having one monthly meeting with doctors & Hospital management.
Responsible to lead counter team members to get the desired results as given by the company.
Responsible for training all counter staff on products, sales process, soft skills, SOP, product upgradation & dispensing standards.
Responsible to ensure counter team achieve the monthly targets & counter goal figures in terms of Rx-Walkins, Conversion%, Volume, Value & ATV.
Responsible for visiting all his counter regularly & ensure business operations are going smooth.
Responsible to minimize the counter counter expenditures as much as possible.
Responsible to maintain the sufficient staff in all the counters & ensure the employee cost to company is below to the percentage given by the company.
Training team members is one of the important task of the area manager & it should be a continuous process.
Responsible to update the day to day operations activities of your reporting manager & responsible to send all the required data.
