Job Description
Staff Supervision and Management:
- Supervise and train housekeeping staff, including room attendants and public area cleaners.
- Create and manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage.
- Assign daily tasks and monitor staff performance.
- Conduct regular staff meetings and provide feedback.
- Address staff concerns and resolve conflicts.
Room and Public Area Inspection:
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.
- Identify and report maintenance issues to the appropriate department.
- Ensure rooms are properly stocked with amenities and supplies.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness of linen and laundry areas.
Inventory and Supply Management:
- Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and amenities.
- Place orders for supplies as needed.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of cleaning chemicals.
Quality Control and Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to company housekeeping standards and procedures.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Implement and monitor quality control measures.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve housekeeping issues promptly.
Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain accurate records of housekeeping activities.
- Prepare and submit reports to the Housekeeping Manager.
- Assist with budget management and cost control.
- Complete daily checklists.
