Job Summary We are looking for a Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support our growing network infrastructure. You will be part of a SRE team that is responsible for designing and developing scalable, maintainable, highly available network architectures that meet business objectives and SLAs. Key Responsibilities Networking : Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs. Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g , IPSEC, BGP, OSPF, QoS) Configure and maintain DNS, DHCP, and other essential network services. Monitor network performance, optimize traffic, and troubleshoot connectivity issues. Thorough understanding of IP Networks, including VLANs Implement network security measures, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and VPNs. Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues Firewalls, switches, routers and other network equipment (Cisco, Fortinet) Collaborate with ISPs, telecom providers, and external vendors to resolve network-related issues. Ability to analyse network performance and identify bottlenecks. Collaboration And Support Work closely with development, IT, telecommunications, and Data Centre teams to ensure seamless operations and integration of services. Provide support for network, Linux, VoIP, and Data Centre-related issues to internal teams and end-users. Document configurations, procedures, network diagrams, VoIP setups, and Data Centre layouts. Participate in on-call rotation to address urgent issues. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience as a Network Operation Engineer with a focus on networking and Data Centre management. In-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems (e.g , CentOS, Ubuntu, Red Hat). Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, FTP, etc. Hands-on experience in Data Centre operations, including server management, rack installation, and environmental monitoring. Knowledge of security best practices and tools. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and documentation skills (ref:hirist.tech),
