Job Description
- Job Purpose: To support Banking & Treasury activities at Eicher Motors Limited - A portfolio management of approximately USD 2 Billion investments and USD 300 million foreign exchange. Position Overview: Location: Chennai Position Title: Deputy Manager - Banking & Treasury Reports to: Group Manager Function: Finance What youll do: Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to: Investment of surplus funds as per board mandated instruments (FDs, mutual funds & bonds) Accounting of investments, reconciliations, preparation of schedule and periodic reporting Evaluate investment portfolio on a continuous basis for both existing and new investments Utilization of funds in an efficient manner for daily operational requirements Foreign exchange risk management activities (including exposure/risk identification, execution of hedging strategies, accounting and compliance) Performance reporting, MTM valuation and other MIS reports on hedge positions Provide insights / analysis to senior management to support risk management decision making Supply Chain Finance activities - Contribute to increase the vendor participation and dealer financing Contribute to and enhance overall risk management initiatives taken by Treasury Develop and maintain new and existing relationships with banking & financial institutions. Liaise with internal and external auditors for various audit processes Support and resolve operational issues faced by various skill teams for banking requirements Confirmations and settlement of treasury transactions with banks, and mutual fund houses Performance of ODI activities to subsidiaries and submission of regulatory reportings to RBI Maintenance of authorized signatories and online user administration Review of subsidiaries cash flows and capital requirements Preparation of management reports to the Banking Committee and to the Board of Directors What you'll bring: Experience: Minimum 4-6 Years Post Qualification in Finance and Treasury experience is an added advantage but not mandatory. Qualification: CA - Charted Accountant Skills: Good understanding of infrastructure, products, standards and configuration Ability to work flexible and stretch hours Demonstrate ownership of and accountability for relevant products and services Ability to work as part of a team and independently Ability to successfully handle multiple tasks while under pressure People Management skill; Working in synergy with cross functional teams,
