Job Description : -
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective visualizations and insights using Power BI
- Create and optimize complex data models using DAX to support the specific reporting and analytics needs of the business
- Utilize Power Query to extract transform and load data from various sources into Power BI Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reports
- Continuously monitor report performance and optimize DAX and other elements for faster rendering and data refresh cycles
- Work closely with the IT and cloud teams to integrate Power BI with other platforms such as Azure Synapse Azure Data Factory Databricks and more when needed
- Use Power BI REST APIs for embedding automating and managing reports and dashboards in thirdparty applications or portals
- Present insights and dashboards to senior management and other stakeholders Provide training and support to endusers to ensure the effective use of Power BI reports and dashboards
- Stay updated with the latest features and updates in Power BI and implement relevant ones to enhance reporting capabilities
Essential Skills
- Proven experience in building deploying and maintaining complex reports and dashboards using Power BI
- Strong expertise in Data Analysis Expressions DAX and Power Query for data modeling and transformation
- Proficiency in using Power BI REST APIs for extended functionality and integration
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal to effectively liaise with stakeholders and present insights
Experience
- 8+ years of experience as a dedicated Power BI developer showcasing a strong portfolio of reports and dashboards catered to varied business needs
- Demonstrated capability in handling large datasets optimizing report performance and ensuring data security best practices
- Past experience in working with crossfunctional teams including data engineers business analysts and cloud architects
