Job Description
- We are seeking a Performance Testing Engineer with expertise in D365 ERP and proficiency in K6 to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing end-to-end performance testing for our Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) ERP system, ensuring optimal system performance and scalability under various load conditions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in performance testing, especially with ERP systems, and a desire to contribute to the success of a major digital transformation. Key Responsibilities Conduct performance testing of D365 ERP applications and related systems, ensuring they meet high-performance standards and business requirements. Develop and execute load testing and stress testing scenarios using K6 to simulate multiple users and varying traffic loads on D365 ERP solutions. Analyze the performance metrics such as response times, error rates, throughput, and system resource utilization. Identify and report bottlenecks, performance issues, and other limitations, providing recommendations for system optimization. Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure that performance testing aligns with project requirements and deadlines. Perform tests across different environments (test, staging, production) and provide insights on environment setup for large-scale testing. Provide detailed test reports, including data analysis, and support the team in debugging and troubleshooting performance issues. Implement and maintain K6 test scripts for ongoing testing of critical ERP workflows. Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and toolsets. Stay up-to-date with the latest performance testing trends, methodologies, and tools. Required Skills & Qualifications Experience in performance testing, ideally with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) ERP solutions. Strong proficiency with K6 for load, stress, and performance testing. Solid experience with performance testing tools (e.g., K6, JMeter, LoadRunner, etc.). Expertise in analyzing performance metrics and interpreting results to provide actionable insights. Experience in developing and executing load testing scripts using JavaScript (specifically for K6). Familiarity with CI/CD integration for automated performance testing. Experience in API testing and analyzing web services for performance. Solid understanding of system architecture, network protocols, and database performance. Ability to effectively communicate performance findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or Datadog for performance visualization and analysis. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. Ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience in D365 ERP performance tuning and optimization. Familiarity with Azure DevOps or other CI/CD tools for integrating performance tests. Experience working with cloud-based solutions (e.g., Azure, AWS) for performance testing. Knowledge of other performance testing tools like JMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner. Basic understanding of automation frameworks and scripting (JavaScript, Python, etc.). Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as New Relic, AppDynamics, or Splunk. Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).,
