Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Coder Surgery. The Medical Coder Surgery will be responsible for accurately coding surgical procedures using appropriate coding guidelines, reviewing clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with medical coding regulations, and collaborating with healthcare providers to clarify diagnoses and procedures. The role involves maintaining patient records, preparing detailed reports, and identifying coding errors or discrepancies.

Qualifications
Coding Experience, Medical Coding skills
Knowledge of Health Information Management, Medical Terminology
Possess RHIT certification
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Prior experience in a surgical coding role is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, or related field preferred,
