Job Title: Network Security Engineer SD-WAN/SASE/SSE
Location: Chennai
Experience: 4 to 7 Years
Notice Period: Immediate to 60 days preferred.
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer with deep expertise in SD-WAN, SSE/SASE technologies, and network security. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with at least one major OEM (Versa, Zscaler, Palo Alto Prisma, or Netskope) and be well-versed in designing, implementing, and supporting secure network infrastructures. This role involves both engineering and solutioning responsibilities and offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and services.
Key Responsibilities
Network Design & Implementation: Architect and deploy secure and scalable network solutions including SD-WAN, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, QoS, multicast, and switching technologies.
Customer Solutioning: Analyze RFPs, design PoCs, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and validate customer solutions for technical feasibility and compliance with requirements.
Engineering Support: Provide L3-level support for complex network and security issues. Ensure high availability, performance, and security of infrastructure.
Project Execution: Lead and manage network engineering projects from initiation through completion, including resource allocation and timeline tracking.
Team Collaboration: Mentor junior engineers and foster a knowledge-sharing environment within the team.System Integration: Service Rollout: Performance Tuning & Automation:
Required Qualifications
47 years of hands-on experience in networking and security domains.
Proficiency in at least one OEM: Versa, Zscaler, Palo Alto Prisma, or Netskope.
Strong understanding of SD-WAN, SSE/SASE, network security, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, QoS, multicast, and switching.
Experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Proven problem-solving skills in large-scale networking environments.
Knowledge of system and platform deployment over network layers.
Experience with cloud infrastructure components including compute, storage, backup, and security.
Preferred candidate profile
Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)
Exposure to virtualization technologies (VMWare, NetApp).
Experience with application architecture and deployment.
Background in system-level engineering and cross-layer integrations.
Soft Skills & Competencies
Fast learner with a keen interest in emerging technologies.
Ability to work independently under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
