Job Description

Role & responsibilities

(Walk-In Drive)

• Desktop L1 resources with 1+ years of experience
• Candidate must have very good communication skills (soft skills) both written and verbal
• First level hardware support for the End User side equipment
• Support of the Desktop Operating System (OS) ( Win 8/8.1 / Win 10) and End-User Application Software Outlook, MS Office 20XX /Office 365, Adobe, Open Office
• Configuring print servers and resolving print related issues requested & reported by End User
• Installing Software on the End-User Desktops, Thin Clients, and Laptops as needed
• Encryption of End Point using relevant application on Desktops and Laptops
• Patch Management on all Desktops / Laptops in line with SGS Patch Management Policy
• Performing any Installation, Move, Add or Change (IMAC) on End Points
• Asset Management including maintaining Inventory information of Critical Assets for Asset Management and Capacity Management purpose
• Perform impact assessment for RFCs on Desktops, Laptops and Peripherals
• Coordinate with Site Leads and Site level teams on VC setup & Upkeep of Training Rooms including Overhead Projectors
• M sure installation of Anti-Virus Software and update of signature files and updates periodicallyM
