 Technical Support Engineer

Job Description

Timings: 12PM To 7PM EST (USA)


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide pre-sales support to drive IoT connectivity adoption for IoT Solutions across various industries.
  2. Assist sales in providing technical support for perspective clients
  3. Conduct platform demos and training for perspective and existing clients
  4. Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to ensure customer satisfaction.
  5. Stay updated on emerging IoT technologies, market trends, and competitors offerings.
  6. Work closely with marketing and product teams to improve product positioning and messaging.
  7. Prepare and deliver technical proposals, quotes, and RFP responses.
  8. Maintain strong relationships with clients and provide ongoing account management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in IoT sales, technical sales, or solution engineering.
  3. Strong understanding of IoT technologies, networking, cloud computing, and connectivity protocols (e.g., MQTT, LoRa, NB-IoT, 5G).
  4. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  5. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business solutions for clients.
  6. Experience with CRM software and sales forecasting tools.(Hub spot preferred)
  7. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently and in a team.
  8. Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.

Devices:

*Iphone/IPad

*Samsung Android and Tablets

* Carrier Networks AT&T/T-Mobile/Verizon

*Network knowledge: LTE/CAT-M/Fixed Wireless /NbIoT

* Any other device knowledge Routers: Cradlepoint/BEC/Inhand/Pepwave (This will give a candidate an edge)

Industry Knowledge with respect to IoT Solutions: Verticals: ( these are the primary we have sold into lately).

Digital Signage

Point of Sales

Push to talk over cellular

Job Tasks:

*Tier 1 Support. Take calls/Review Tickets for Services not working, questions on usage etc.

* Learn CAMP to do onboarding for new customers and assist existing

*Pull reporting for coverage checks/Billing info

*Opening tickets with carriers

*Knowledge of how Private APN works (This is a bonus if they know it not necessary).
