Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Project Manager and engineers to understand project requirements and ensure the timely availability of client-specified materials and equipment
  • Ensure that all procurement transactions are properly documented, including contracts, purchase orders, delivery schedules, and other relevant records, maintaining them in an organized and accessible manner.
  • Work with the legal team to review and finalize purchase orders, ensuring compliance with all contractual terms and legal requirements.
  • Track and manage procurement expenses, ensuring that all costs are recorded accurately and maintained within the established budgetary constraints.
  • Coordinate with the finance department to ensure the timely processing of payments to suppliers and vendors.
  • Identify and assess potential risks in the procurement process, including supply chain) disruptions, vendor reliability, or price fluctuations, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee inventory management to ensure that materials and equipment are available onsite when required, avoiding delays in construction activities.
  • Manage stock levels to prevent excess inventory while ensuring that critical items are always available for ongoing project needs
  • Ensure procurement practices adhere to legal and regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standaros.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, receipts, and invoices, ensuring proper documentation for audits and reviews.
  • Prepare regular procurement reports for the Project Head, providing updates on procurement status, cost performance, supplier issues, and any procurement challenges

Preferred candidate profile


  • Qualification: Graduation/ Post-Graduation with exposure to procurement processes
  • Minimum 7 years relevant experience in procurement field
