• Seeking a dedicated professional to join our established highways team across multiple Jacobs offices in India

• The individual should be capable of taking a leading role in delivering drainage design services throughout all stages of an infrastructure project development, working independently and supporting the project delivery across the business

KEY COMPETENCY - Technical skills

Application of hydraulics and hydrology in the drainage design for highways and urban development projects.

Exposure to ANZ, US, Middle East and/or UK projects

Exposure to relevant design standards (DMRB/ SUDS/ similar)

Technical Report Writing skills

Proficient in MS Office tools.

Confident- Good interpersonal and communication skills (English).

Capable of managing a challenging workload

Team oriented

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will guide a team of junior engineers and technicians on projects.

Providing technical expertise in drainage design and hydraulic modelling for projects at various stages of development.

Preparation and presentation of design calculations and drawings for project delivery

Technical Coordination for design development

Attend project progress meetings

The role will encompass resource, program and commercial management.

KEY COMPETENCY - Software skills

Experience in OpenRoads/ 12D

Exposure to Windes Microdrainage / Sewergems

Experience on HY-8/ HEC-RAS/ Flow Master

Experience on 3D modelling using Civil3D

Experience in ProjectWise/ Autodesk 360/ Autodesk Construction Cloud/ Synergy

Exposure to CAD - AutoCAD/ Microstation
