Experience:-
- Minimum of 4 to 8 Years of experience in Designing, Implementing and supporting large scale IP/MPLS and Service provider networks
- Experience on Creating the use cases for platform analysis
- Experience on converting the business requirement to technical design
- Experience on Multiple Network Project handling
- Extensive experience on a service provider or enterprise-level network in engineering or design roles, with some experience as a technical lead.
- Experience with field-based work in POPs, data centers and Central Office environments.
- Experience with the Hardware intensive testing
- Experience on Technical validation and feasibility analysis of Ethernet/Packet services
- Experience with low level design document preparation for Service provider network
- Experience with service provider environment is more prepared
Qualification for Sify Core Network Engineering: -
- Minimum of B.E/B.Tech in Computer, IT or Electronics discipline.
- Hands on experience in implementation and supporting solutions based on the below technologies
- Strong knowledge on EVPN technologies E-Line(EPL,EVPL)E-LAN,E-Tree, Segment routing,SRV6, SR-TE, RIP, OSPF, OSPFV2, ISIS, BGP, ISIS, EIGRP, 6PE, 6VPE, MPLS VPN, Carrier ethernet, IPV6 dual stack, Policy Based Routing, RTBH, BFD, MPLS LDP, RSVP-TE, PIM, VRRP, HSRP, Multicast, IPV6 Dual stack. QoS Architecture,
- VLANs, VXLAN, Vlan-stacking, QinQ, L2pt, STP, RSTP & MSTP, VTP, GVRP, Ether-channel, MACSEC, l2pt, Ethernet OAM, IPSLA, ACL, LLDP, CDP, REP, ERPS, Flex link, multi chassis LAG, EV-LAG, Carrier-delay, NetFlow.
- Strong knowledge on Ethernet, Physical Media (Copper/Fiber), Multiplex/Demultiplex, Ethernet Testing (RFC2544, BERT, Y.1731), Virtual Traffic generator & Bandwidth testing,
- Telnet, ssh, Netconf-yang, Telemetry, TACACS, RADIUS, SNMPv2, SNMPV3, LPTS, Management-plane protection.
- Hands on experience in Evaluating, Designing, Implementing and Supporting solutions with the below platforms
- Routing and switching platforms - Cisco, Ciena, Huawei, HP, Juniper, Alcatel-Lucent.
- Cloud - VMWare Esx, VCD, VShield App and VShield Edge, Cisco Nexus 1000v
- knowledge of Transmission, Ethernet / DWDM, NG Packet Network Technologies
- Excellent understanding of Metro-Ethernet technologies and MPLS based L2 VPN services (Ethernet P2P or P2MP)
- Good understanding about the Service provider network (Customer demark, Access network, Metro network, Core network, Internet architecture)
- Knowledge of LAN principles and practices
- Excellent written, oral and presentation skills able to articulate technical concepts into documentation
- Good working knowledge on MS Office (Visio, Word, PPT Excel) and other tools used for day 2 day administrative tasks.
- Good understanding about the Service provider network (Customer demark, Access network, Metro network, Core network, Internet architecture)
- Applicable industry certifications. Minimum of CCIE, JNCIE, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of industry-standard best practices for Networks and Datacenters.
- Excellent written/verbal communication and Presentation skills
Roles and responsibilities: -
- Technical validation and feasibility analysis of Sify Ethernet/IP services
- low-level design for customer solution over Sify Ethernet Packet / DWDM, as per timeline
- Provide solutions design document basis Customer requirement and Network architecture deliverables.
- Co-ordinate with Front-end Teams / Delivery / Network Operations / Engineering / Capacity Management for designing and smooth implementation of the customer services.
- Ensure KPI conformance > 98%.
- Maintain a high quality of output and ensure completion of tasks with a target of zero errors.
- Real time closure of Solution handling system workflow tools
- Managing escalations / issues on daily basis.
- Perform quality check and drive initiatives to improve quality / accuracy of design.
- Handling complex solution related deliveries like Ethernet VPN/ Bespoke etc.
- Leading executing delivery projects and migration projects, To become SME both technically process-wise
- Helping team members with their daily jobs.
- Collect the business requirement and convert the technical design. Capture the required capex/opex for the business requirement.
- This position serves as the subject matter expert and is responsible for the architecture, design and development of ISP network infrastructures.
- Design the Access Network, Aggregation network, Core network and Internet architecture in Service provider network
- Plan network design and implementation projects and guide all the participants and stakeholders throughout the technology development initiatives
- Lead the development of new technologies and analysis the existing architectures and made the recommendations for improved MPLS-VPN technologies, Metro network technologies, Internet architecture.
- Create basis of design, HLD (high level design), LLD (low level design), implementation plan and NRFU (network ready for use) for large scale Network Infrastructure Projects that involves Access Network, Metro network, MPLS VPN technology, ISP network.
- Developing requirements for Access/Aggregation/Core Network, virtual private networks (VPNs)
- Must be able to lead projects throughout the full lifecycle of project delivery including the requirement gathering, planning, design, implementation, testing, optimization, and hand-over phases.
- Network design changes to existing network for optimizing performance, review the network change before implementing.
- Implementing new technologies / solutions / services in the existing network
- Identify the task to automate & FastTrack the service delivery. Provide the logic/ideas to automate the ISP network in terms of service provisioning & operational issues.
- Testing vendor devices for functionality and deployment in the ISP network, create the common test plan and compare the vendors to choose quality of hardware and effective design for the ISP network
- Managing customer escalations in technical issues and solving operational issues in ISP network
- Actively monitor for any updated technology, Bugs and recommend for betterment of the network
- Software life cycle management
- Reproducing the issues reported by customers / internal teams in lab and provide to vendor TAC team for analysis
- Work with TAC team (Cisco, ciena, Huawei, Fortigate) to get any software issues sorted.
