Lead the technical design and development of electrical and embedded systems for Oil & Gas applications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and codes.
Develop, implement, and debug firmware for embedded systems using embedded C, C++, and Basic Java, utilizing relevant programming tools (IDEs, programmers, debuggers).
Design and execute test plans for firmware verification and assist in electronic testing of existing systems, documenting outcomes.
Collaborate effectively with system and mechanical engineers throughout the electronics development process.
Maintain and update system firmware and accompanying technical documentation.
Apply strong knowledge of microcontroller architectures and contribute to creating, simulating, and verifying digital and analog electronics.
Support project planning, report generation, and analysis, while working independently and providing technical guidance to the team.
Preferred candidate profile
Bachelor's degree (B.E/B. Tech) in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
15 to 18 years of hands-on technical design experience, with a significant focus on electrical design within the Oil & Gas industry.
Proven expertise in firmware/embedded programming tools, including IDEs, programmers, and debuggers.
Demonstrated experience in developing and verifying firmware for embedded systems.
Strong proficiency in programming languages including embedded C, C++, and Basic Java.
In-depth knowledge of various microcontroller architectures.
Familiarity with tools and techniques for creating, simulating, and verifying digital and analog electronics.
Solid understanding and practical experience with Skid design codes and standards.
