SQL Server Database Expert @ Bajaj Finance

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Design and implement logical and physical data models to support application requirements. Develop and maintain relational database structures using SQL Server. Create and optimize stored procedures, views, functions, and triggers. Ensure data integrity, consistency, and scalability through effective database design. Perform performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing strategies. Analyze execution plans and troubleshoot slow-running queries. Collaborate with developers, analysts, and DevOps teams to deliver high-performing solutions. Maintain and improve existing database systems, ensuring best practices and security standards. Required Skills: 610 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server. Expertise in data modeling (ER diagrams, normalization, schema design). Strong knowledge of T-SQL and database development best practices. Experience in database performance tuning, index design, and execution plan analysis. Proficient in database design tools (e.g., ER/Studio, ERwin, or Visio). Familiar with version control and CI/CD practices for database changes. Nice to Have: Experience with SSIS, SSRS, or Power BI. Exposure to cloud database platforms (e.g., Azure SQL, AWS RDS). Microsoft certifications in SQL Server technologies.,
