We are hiring for the Leading ITES Company for Passenger Revenue Accounting Domain Consultant Role.
Job Description:
- Graduate in any stream with rich Airline/Travel domain experience (minimum 10+ years)
- Well versed with standard Industry applications and GDS (NDC One Order/One Offer, ATPCO, Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre, SITA)
- Experience of managing large accounts and multiple team leaders
- Experience in managing and maintaining financial health of the account
- Excellent communication, Strong drive for results
- Experience in successfully managing stringent client SLAs and KPIs
- Working knowledge of MS Office and other standard desktop applications
- Very good Analytical skills and experience of managing multiple customers
- Strong drive to identify and implement process transformations, optimization and automation
- Ability to travel as per project requirements
Specialization for Passenger Revenue Accounting
1. Revenue Accounting:
Strong understanding of accounting principles and revenue recognition, airline ticketing
systems and industry standards
2. Interline & Proration:
Verifying the accuracy of ticket pricing and passenger data on flights involving multiple airlines, ensure accurate billing for the portion of the fare complying with IATA regulations and industry standards, identify and resolve any discrepancies or billing errors, good understanding in Multiple and Special Prorate Agreements.
3. Fare Auditing:
Auditing passenger tickets, understanding of fare structures, ticketing rules, and relevant IATA regulations, compliance with regulations
4. Airline Chargebacks:
Investigating and resolving disputed credit card transactions, evaluating the validity of claims, identifying patterns of fraudulent chargeback activity, reporting potential issues, adherence to industry regulations and card network guidelines
5. Airline General Ledger Accounting:
Record and organize all financial transactions, preparing journal entries, reconciliation and financial reports.
Skills:
1. Airline Revenue Management: Revenue Management, Airline Inventory Management, Airline Demand Planning & Forecasting, Pricing Strategies, Fare Structure design, Revenue Optimization
2. Departure Control Systems: Airline Departure Control Systems, Passenger Boarding, Web Check-in, Mobile Check-in, Kiosk Check-in, Flight Scheduling, Load planning, Documentation management
3. Airline Disruption Management: IROPs handling, rerouting passengers, revalidation of tickets, rebooking SSRs, baggage handling, customer notification (manual/systemic)
4. Crew Management: Crew planning & rostering, pairing duties, flight & duty time limitations, comply with safety standards, providing alerts and notifications
5. Migration support: Passenger Service System migration support, testing all aspects of passenger booking, check-in, and ticketing from one platform to another including planning, data migration, system integration, track defects to closure.
Key Skills:
a) Minimum 10 years of Airline/Travel domain experience
b) Experience in Airline Revenue and Airline Disruption Management
c) Experience in Airline Chargebacks and Fare Auditing
d) Well versed with NDC One Order/One Offer, ATPCO, Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre, SITA
e) Any Graduate
