- Process the requisitions received from Medical & Non-Medical store, within the shortest possible time.
- Make provisions for record of quantities as per the ideal inventory levels to be maintained.
- Identify suppliers and discuss with the related In-charge about the rates quoted by the vendors.
- Prepare the orders on system and ensure timely validation by authorized signatories.
- Place the order with the respective suppliers and conduct periodic follow-ups for fast delivery of the items.
- Maintain a proper record of all the purchase orders prepared and rate negotiations done
- Follow up on supplier payments with accounts department if there are any delays and ensure unhindered supply.
- Take active interest in reduction of procurement cost by rates negotiation, vendor substitution, brand substitution, having shorter channels of supplies.
- Take accountability for returning and exchange of non-moving and expired goods.
- To work closely with In-charge stores to prepare various reports and MIS as required by management from time to time like monthly saving report, price index etc.

- SOP & Audit Compliance
- DPCO / NPPA price validation
- Any other job assigned by the reporting In-charge.
