Job Description
Role: Site Reliability Engineer
Experience: 5+years
Location: Remote
Work timing: IST Hours
Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor Linux-based systems and production infrastructure.
- Design, implement, and support Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes.
- Implement monitoring and alerting solutions using Prometheus, Mosaic, and Splunk.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system and application issues across environments.
- Participate in on-call rotation to support critical systems and services.
- Document runbooks, incident reports, and standard operating procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in basic Linux system administration and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience managing Kubernetes clusters in production.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD systems (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Mosaic.
- Experience with log management and analysis using Splunk.
- Solid understanding of basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing).
- Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages.
