Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AI Project and Program Manager to lead and oversee our AI initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management, and business strategy, enabling them to effectively bridge the gap between technical teams and business objectives. Candidate will report to Director of AI Initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of AI projects, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and timely completion within budget constraints.
- Program Oversight: Develop and manage comprehensive AI programs that integrate seamlessly into our academic offerings, enhancing the learning experience for students.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams, faculty, and administrative departments to ensure cohesive project development and implementation.
- Resource Allocation: Identify and allocate necessary resources, including personnel, budget, and technology, to support AI projects and programs effectively.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all AI initiatives meet the highest standards of quality, ethics, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI and incorporate best practices into project and program management processes.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Business Administration, or a related field. A Masters degree or higher is preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in project management roles, focusing on AI or related technology projects. Proven track record in successfully delivering complex AI initiatives.
- Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of AI technologies, algorithms, and frameworks. Familiarity with AI development tools and platforms is essential.
- Project Management Skills: Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies. Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) is highly desirable.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with the capacity to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Leadership Abilities: Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with experience guiding cross-functional teams toward successful project outcomes.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ethical Considerations: Awareness of AI ethics and legal considerations to ensure all projects align with regulatory standards and ethical guidelines.
