- Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computers, or equivalent practical experience. 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects. Experience as a Technical Program Manager with experience in managing software project development and integration. Experience in managing external partners and vendors. Preferred qualifications: Experience with software development life cycle principles and agile execution. Experience in managing programs, and cross-functional teams. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, youll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. Youll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. Google TV is redefining the TV experience to make it highly personalized, Google-smart, and content-forward to help users access the worlds media. Through recent launches like Chromecast with Google TV, we bring together the best of Google. Google TV is focused on scaling across the OEM ecosystem; working closely with third-party streaming partners plus many teams across Google (for example: Ads, Play, and YouTube); and building a business on TV platforms, OTT devices, and mobile devices. With over 220 million active users of our products plus being amidst the quickly evolving media and entertainment industry, there are plenty of opportunities for the team and individuals in it. Responsibilities Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand or identify defined work problems and program goals, obtain prioritized deliverables, and discuss program impact. Use leadership to drive project delivery, and work with engineering and product management. Build new operational improvements and processes, build relationships and act as the bridge to infrastructure and other feature development teams.
