The positions primary focus will be on the development of Android applications and their integration with back-end services. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality products is essential. You'll be responsible for: Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Work with outside data sources and API. Work on bug fixing and improving application performances. Continuously discover, evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency. Requirements Must-have: Great understanding of Android development SDK and Kotlin. Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, MVVM, MVP patterns and best practices, Unit-test cases, Fragments, Custom view components, Java, RX Java, Android APIs, NDK, and design patterns. Conversant with JSON, XML, and Web Services API. Good grasp of algorithms, design patterns, memory management, and multi-threaded programming. Experience with SAAS platforms for mobile development like Analytics, Push Notifications, Cloud Storage, Ad Networks, etc. Hands-on experience with Android's debugging, unit-testing, memory, and performance optimization tools, experienced in database like SQL, room, sugar etc. Must be able to effectively communicate, document ideas, and articulate the reasons for your decisions.
