Java Developer Lead - Fixed Income Trade @ Hiringeye

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Developer with a strong background in Fixed Income Trading or Capital Markets (Equities). The ideal candidate will have 9+ years of hands-on experience in Java development, with a deep understanding of financial systems, trading platforms, and market data integration. Experience in Fixed Income trading is highly preferred, but candidates with a strong background in Equities or other Capital Markets domains will also be considered. Required Skills and Qualifications: 9+ years of experience in Java development, with a strong focus on server-side development. Strong understanding of Fixed Income Trading or Capital Markets (Equities, Derivatives, etc.). Proficiency in multi-threading, concurrency, and low-latency programming. Experience with market data feeds (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters) and trading protocols (FIX, SWIFT). Familiarity with order management systems (OMS) and execution management systems (EMS). Strong knowledge of Spring Framework, Hibernate, and microservices architecture. Experience with messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Solace. Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL). Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.,
