Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

Tax Compliance: Prepare, review, and file income tax returns (ITR) for individuals, businesses, and corporations.
Tax Planning: Advise clients on tax-saving strategies and optimization.
Audit Support: Assist in handling tax audits, assessments, and inquiries from tax authorities.
TDS & GST: Manage Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) and Goods & Services Tax (GST) filings.
Legal Advisory: Stay updated on tax laws and regulatory changes affecting clients.
Financial Documentation: Prepare required tax documentation, including Form 16, Form 26AS, and other relevant statements.
Liaison with Authorities: Represent clients in cases of scrutiny, assessments, or notices from the Income Tax Department.
Client Coordination: Work closely with clients to resolve tax-related queries and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Requirements:

Education: CA / Semi-Qualified CA / MBA in Finance / Taxation.
Experience: [X] years in income tax return filing, audit support, and tax compliance.
Skills: Strong knowledge of Income Tax Act, 1961, tax planning, and financial advisory.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with tax software like Tally, ClearTax, GST Portal, and ITR Filing Tools.
Communication: Excellent client-handling and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in a Chartered Accountant (CA) Firm.
Hands-on expertise in GST compliance and tax assessment cases.
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability in tax matters.
