Job Title : EPC Mechanical Design Engineer for Power & Water (International Project) based at Baroda

Our client is one of the regions prominent EPC - engineering, procurement and construction contracting companies. It is Govt Category 1 contractor, and certified for ISO 9001:2015.
**They have Power Plant EPC Design Project for GCC region.
Project: EPC Project Combined Cycle Power Plant
Job Location : Baroda with brief Visit to GCC Country
Candidate Profile / Skills Required :
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 10 to 15 years of work experience in the related field.
- Must have design experience in Power Plants / Water Desalination Plants projects.
- Good Command in English both writing & speaking.
- Thorough understanding of Engineering standards.
- AutoCAD application design skills.
- Prior GCC Design project experience is a must.
- FEED expertise
- Experience in EPC projects
- Power plant project design background
- Thorough understanding of Engineering standards
- AutoCAD application design skills
Job Responsibilities :
- lead and manage a team of professional draftsmen.
- develop designs from project specifications
- allocate, prioritize and check work of a team of draftsmen.
- check and evaluate design and material specifications for tender.
- prepare and check material data sheets and coordinate with procurement engineer select materials.
- document, record and report on meetings, progress of jobs and construction completions from design & validation reports from Project Engineers.
- incorporate feedback from projects and customers for design clarification and modifications during the development and construction project phases.
- formulate designs which are intended be practical, aesthetic and conducive intended purpose.
- use design techniques make the best visual and physical use of space.
- collaborate with team of designers meet the Projects needs and provide engineering support.
- coordinate work produced by in-house junior designers, senior designers, consultants, code, specifications, etc. as directed by the Project Manager.
- work closely with other construction professionals such as quantity surveyors, structural engineers, building services engineers and builders.
