Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage robust CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to streamline application development and deployment.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or ARM templates.
- Administer and optimize AWS services including EC2, EKS, S3, RDS, and others.
- Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications using Kubernetes (EKS).
- Develop and maintain shell scripts for automating system administration and deployment tasks.
- Configure and manage load balancing solutions to ensure application high availability and performance.
- Monitor and enhance system performance, reliability, and security using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Azure Monitor.
- Collaborate closely with development and IT teams to ensure consistent deployment and operational excellence.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and application-level issues with minimal downtime.
- Define and manage effective backup and disaster recovery strategies.
- Stay current with DevOps trends, emerging tools, and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, with proven expertise in Azure and AWS cloud ecosystems.
- Strong proficiency in shell scripting; experience with Python or PowerShell is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
- Solid understanding of load balancing concepts and related technologies.
- Practical knowledge of CI/CD tools and deployment strategies.
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
Preferred candidate profile
- Certifications in Azure, AWS, or Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD).
- Experience with Ansible, Puppet, or Chef for configuration management.
- Understanding of cloud security best practices and governance.
