Job Title: Certified ITGC Compliance Expert Part-Time Contract (US EST Hours)
Job Type: Part-Time | Freelance / Contract
Location: Remote (Must be available during US EST business hours)
Experience Required: 10+ Years
Contract Duration: ~5 Months (Extendable)
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and Certified ITGC Compliance Expert with a strong background in SAP Security to support our compliance and audit initiatives. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in SAP S/4 HANA, Windows Active Directory, and Portal Security, combined with a solid understanding of IT General Controls (ITGC). This is a part-time, contract-based opportunity with flexibility, requiring availability during US Eastern Time business hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support ITGC compliance initiatives, ensuring adherence to industry standards and internal policies.
- Perform detailed assessments and remediation of ITGC risks across SAP S/4 HANA, Windows AD, and Portal Security environments.
- Collaborate with internal audit teams and external auditors to provide evidence and explanations of control design and effectiveness.
- Drive continuous improvement of ITGC processes and documentation in alignment with evolving compliance requirements.
- Support user access reviews, role design, segregation of duties (SoD), and other key SAP Security activities.
- Maintain and enhance compliance documentation, process flows, and control matrices.
- Provide expert guidance on IT control frameworks such as SOX, COBIT, and NIST.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of professional experience in ITGC compliance and SAP Security.
- Minimum 812 years of relevant hands-on ITGC experience.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA, Windows Active Directory, and Portal Security.
- Active CISP certification or an equivalent recognized certification in IT compliance/security.
- Proven track record of successful audit support and control remediation.
- Strong understanding of control frameworks (e.g., SOX, COBIT, NIST).
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities within defined timelines.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with risk and control management tools or GRC platforms.
- Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
- Previous experience working in a multinational or regulated environment.
Note: This is a remote, part-time contract role. Candidates must be available during US Eastern Time business hours and able to commit for an initial duration of 5 months, with potential for extension based on project needs.
