Job Description
Job Description:We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Architect to join our Solutions team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing data architectures for high velocity streaming data, with a strong emphasis on AWS cloud technologies, Databricks, and data lakehouse. This role may also include current state assessment responsibilities and will need collaboration with client teams.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in data architecture
- Strong proficiency in handling very high velocity streaming data for building data lake/ data warehouse solutions.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services, Apache Kafka, Databricks, Kubernetes and Docker.
- Programming experience with advanced Python, PySpark, SQL.
- Expert proficiency in Data contracts and Data Modeling.
- Conversant with Atlassian suite Confluence, JIRA.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to articulate data architecture approach and decisions.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable data architectures for handling streaming data to generate real time insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into data solutions.
- Develop and maintain data models, data flow diagrams, and architecture blueprints.
- Optimize and maintain SQL databases and data warehouses to support business operations.
- Ensure data integrity, quality, and security throughout the data lifecycle.
- Support cloud-based data solutions, with a preference for AWS, and contribute to migration strategies.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to articulate data strategy and solutions.
