Job Description:

Medline Industries, Inc. Information Services department is seeking an automation software quality engineer with five (5) or more years of experience in automation framework designing and testing. This automation software quality engineer must be self-motivated, inquisitive, and detail oriented with the ability to achieve deadlines while working effectively within a team environment. -

Job Description

• Manual testing (30%) and automation (70%)
• Create and maintain automated test scripts for web based applications
• Design and debug existing automation framework
• Debug automated test scripts
• Coordinate with onsite automation engineer for required changes in automation framework
• Produce test cases for detailed and high level requirements.
• Execute manual testing on web browsers and mobile devices.
• Perform post migration smoke testing
• Accurately assess impact of software defects
• Log and report defects found during string testing
• Triage defects with team
• Validate detailed requirements for testability
• Adhere to IS Department policies best practices.
• Work successfully within an iterative/agile environment

Required Experience

• Around 7 years of overall IT experience
• 3- 5 years in designing and executing manual test cases for web based software.
• 5 years in creating automated test scripts and framework design using Selenium Web Driver (with JAVA) for web based applications.
• Experience with Test NG or JUnit (reporting) framework
• This is not a record and play automated testing position. The candidate must be able to write code that integrates the automation framework with the application.
• Must be highly motivated and dependable with excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal inputs.
• 4 year degree in CS / IS or related experience

Nice to have:

• SOAP UI Experience with web services
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2016, ERP/SAP
• Performance testing using WebLoad or Load Runner
