Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented WordPress Developer with a good understanding of Technical SEO and modern website development practices. In this role, youll be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing WordPress websites that are both user-friendly and SEO-optimized. You'll work closely with design, marketing, and content teams to ensure website performance, visibility, and user experience meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive WordPress websites.
- Implement and manage themes, plugins, and custom functionalities.
- Ensure all websites are technically optimized for search engines (Technical SEO).
- Perform website audits and troubleshoot SEO-related issues (e.g., site speed, crawl errors, structured data).
- Integrate third-party tools and APIs as needed.
- Maintain and improve site performance, security, and mobile responsiveness.
- Monitor and implement updates, backups, and version control for WordPress sites.
- Collaborate with content and marketing teams to improve UX/UI and drive conversions.
Requirements:
Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in WordPress CMS, theme customization, and plugin development.
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
- Experience with Technical SEO best practices.
- Experience working with cPanel, FTP, Git, and staging environments.
- Knowledge of accessibility and mobile-first design principles.
- Experience with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
- Knowledge of security protocols and WordPress hardening.
Soft Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Proactive and up-to-date with the latest web development and SEO trends.
