Sr Software Engineer - ReactJS, Redux & Typescript @ Blue Yonder

Scope:

• We are looking for a resource with 5+ years of experience who:
• Articulates, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Enjoys working in a small team of engineers, technicians and designers
• Reacts quickly and adapt to changes in priorities, circumstances and direction
• Has the knack of establishing and maintaining effective relationships with colleagues
• Self-manages workload and meets delivery schedules with minimal supervision

Our current technical environment:

• Software: Java, J2EE, Springboot, Microservices, ReactJS, Angular, GIT, Rest API, OAuth, SQL Server Oracle, ExtJS
• Application Architecture: Scalable, Resilient, secure enterprise application
• Frameworks/Others: Azure Cloud/Private Cloud/On-Premise, Jenkins, Splunk, AppDynamics

What you ll do:

• Focuses on learning the craft and how to work in a team productively, in particular:
• Guided by team members, contributes simple features and bug fixes and provides matching test cases.
• Finds suitable work items in the team backlog with the help of other team members.
• Participates in team activities such as backlog grooming, planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Participates in code and design reviews.
• Is aware of the teams continuous integration pipeline and fixes broken builds as necessary.
• Learns how to improve readability and maintainability of code.
• Continuously improves themselves and the code they produce.

What we are looking for:

• 5 to 8 years of experienced ReactJS, Reduc Flux developement and open source.
• Autonomously performs small refactorings to improve local software quality.
• Is aware of the teams continuous integration pipeline and fixes broken builds as necessary.
• Actively provides feedback during code reviews.
• Onboards new members to the team and helps develop junior engineers.
• Assists associates with implementational and operational issues.
• Clearly communicates impediments and actively seeks support by team members to overcome obstacles.
• Participates in implementing performance benchmark tests.
• Understands company and team visions and the problem domain their team works on.
• Demonstrates problem solving and innovation ability.
