Job Description
- Build, maintain, and optimize comprehensive real estate financial models using Argus Enterprise, ensuring accurate and reliable cash-flow projections and valuations.
- Create sophisticated Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) models to evaluate investment potential, performance metrics, and value creation opportunities across multifamily and commercial portfolios.
- Conduct scenario planning using Argus, optimizing models for various financial structures and market assumptions.
- Incorporate in-depth market research and comparable analysis into Argus and DCF models, enhancing data accuracy and model relevance.
- Translate modeling outputs into actionable reports for senior management and clients, clearly presenting financial insights, IRR, Cash-on-Cash returns, and value-driving recommendations.
- Work across teams and with clients to provide Argus and DCF modeling expertise for acquisitions, developments, and portfolio strategies.
- Bachelors degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or Business
- 25 years of experience specializing in Argus Enterprise and DCF modeling
- Strong command of Argus Enterprise software for real estate financial modeling
- Expertise in DCF modeling methodologies, with a focus on multifamily and commercial real estate
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling best practices
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Masters degree in Real Estate, Finance, or Economics
- Certifications such as CFA, CA, or FRM (completed or in progress)
- Familiarity with real estate tools such as Yardi Voyager, CoStar, and Google Earth
