Job Details: Senior Application Developer - NestJs
Location: Navi Mumbai (India Office)
Please note: Experience just with the MERN stack IS NOT helpful in this role. Similarily, ExpressJS or Java-based frameworks like Spring Boot is not relevant for this role. We are specifically looking for candidates with 3+ years of hands-on experience in NestJS and the listed tech stack. We're hiring four Senior NestJS Engineers to join our team. You'll work with a seasoned group on a complex, high-scale platform over 3000 APIs and services already live, with V2 in the pipeline. It's game on.
Mandatory TechStack - please apply if you meet these:
- Framework: NestJs with TS (not Express or MERN) | 4yrs+
- Event-driven with Queues: Kafka, BullMQ, RabbitMQ | 4yrs+
- Resources: GraphQL, Webhooks, Websockets | 4yrs+
- Database: MongoDb, Redis and Postgres | 5yrs+

- Extensive experience with the tech-stack mentioned above - especially NestJs. If you have only worked on it for a few months or a year and 'kind of know it', you won't cut.

- It's a 100% work-from-office position. We DO NOT have remote work for this role.
- There will be a practical, hands-on technical task as part of this application.

What we do
We provide a smart manufacturing platform and help manufacturers globally gain real-time insights into their factories. It's a large-scale, heavily data-driven platform with complex algorithms available on the web and mobile (native). A low-key highlight - we do all this with a latency of less than 50ms, less than the time it took you to read this text.
We're disrupting the status quo, which is why we're only looking for people ready to build at this level.
What is important to us for this role
- The more you understand complex product algorithms and write efficient, scalable code, the better. Millisecond-level response times matter here.
- Write clean, maintainable code that meets our standards or your PR won't pass.
- Optimize for performance and scalability. Don't just code improve.
- Deep knowledge of NestJS, REST APIs, microservices, queues, and caching is a must.
- Understand trade-offs. Know the what, when, and how not just what works.
What we dont care about for this position
- Your English: We dont care how fluent you are in English. We speak NestJS here thats the language that matters.
- Your resume titles: If you write high-quality code, youre not a junior in our eyes. MNC experience? Cool, but not a golden ticket. Its not a disadvantage. We value it. It doesn't give you an edge though... well, not always.
- Being full-stack: Its okay if you dont know frontend, cloud, CI/CD, Git, or all the buzzwords. You can learn that here. Just be exceptional at your core tech stack. Thats what counts.
