Senior Data Engineer

• Must interact directly with the client
• Hands on maintenance on costing application
• AWS (Lambda, Glue, RCS, ECS, Data Pipeline, EMR), Databricks, Spark, PySpark, Python, SQL
• Maintain data pipelines
• Load data and perform data quality checks
• Manage bug reports & tickets
• Enhancements to existing AWS applications
• Must be a data engineer first, not a DevOps CI/CD engineer
• Node.js / Vue.js nice to have, we can train up on front end skills
• They will be loading data into 3rd party application- helping feed the data into the applications, focusing on data loads, data quality checks, ensuring no missing data- he said it is a pretty typical data engineering role. They will also be building new data pipelines, enhancements
• 60-80& doing data loading work and 20% building functionality
• Data engineers need to have experience with Spark and Databricks
